Ø.K. FOX (he/hir) is a printmaker, nightlife producer, artworker, overthinker, and former barista based in Queens, NY. After founding Zinefeast while attending SUNY Purchase, he went on to organize Disclaimer Gallery and Paperjazz Zine Fest at Silent Barn. He recently founded Intercomm Zine Fest in Ridgewood. He is interested in building more ethical and redistributive arts communities via dedicated study of Marxist theory, trans liberation, and police abolition. He co-hosts a weekly podcast called Art and Labor, which discusses current and historical political struggles in the art, education, and media fields. His personal practice experiments with the distortion of identity through fandom and mass media using zines and his drag character Sexual Gumby. His annual local drag showcase, Sonic 2006 Club recently celebrated it’s 10th year.
